About Us

→We are an up and coming Internet Media Website, focused on video game and entertainment enthusiast markets. MstSage Entertainment has been around since 2006 started by myself (Rane) and Rek. The goal has been to bring entertainment to everyone. The site was originally just for game videos and and to post or blog about what was going on in the entertainment world. As we grew older, the site went on hiatus due to our real world life, Rek was in college and I was in the Army.

As I got out of the army, and was trying to decide what to do with myself, I started streaming videos and wanting to write articles and news for the entertainment industry. I however wanted something that was my own. So with the help of Rek I resurrected MstSage Entertainment (mstsage.com). We started on a very different platform, I wanted an easily customizable website that was easy for user to blog along with combine with a wiki. Previously we had used phpnuke as a content management system with a phpbb forums. As we were not up to date on what current content management systems were currently being used. We did a little bit of research and settled on Joomla. At the time it seemed to work how we wanted however with time updates were pushed that broke our theme. With limited support and our real lives caching up to us yet again we went on a slight hiatus not writing, doing videos reviews or anything.

Now come to MstSage Entertainment 2.0 (or 3.0) depending who’s counting. I did some more research and found that WordPress had evolved and was no longer just Blogging CMS like I previously thought. I discussed it with Rek, and I started development on a custom WordPress website. Using Genesis as a base framework, I began creating the theme and css. While I can do somethings with web development, I am still a novice when it comes to plugin development, and some custom development. So we contracted WPOnlineSupport to make several pages, and plugins and help with making sure the website is mobile ready for everyone’s viewing. The ultimate goal of MstSage Entertainment is not to take you away from other Entertainment News sources, but to create an alternative with another viewpoint. We want the entertainment community to join us in helping with content. As MstSage Entertainment is not just us it’s a Community!
