State of MstSage Entertainment – July 2014

Sage Wiki Live

So to the right there, you can see what the Wiki currently looks like.  Due to some problems with the CSS getting stuck or distorted we thought it would be best to give it it’s own website.  Well, what does that mean for everyone else?
You can still create your account right here, by doing so you automatically create your account over there.  Same username and password, and even user rights, so if you end updating your password, or even get moved to a higher group here you will get the appropriate privileges on SageWiki.

What Exactly is SageWiki?

SageWiki is our Walkthrough/Strategy Guide Section of our site. The cool thing about it is all the guides are free and will always be free.  You might ask what the catch is to this. Well, there is none, all that we ask is everyone help contribute to making our guides better. If you decide to contribute and use another person’s guide, it is usually ok, however, we recommend you put the guide in your own words or provide credit to the original source. As the guides are constantly being changed and updated they belong to no one and yet everyone.

With it being a Wiki you are free to edit/revise others pages as long as it’s within reason. No guide will be locked/protected even if it is considered complete there is always something new that could be added to improve it. SageWiki is for the community and will help us stay together as we work together to help other members of the gaming community.

Reviews and More!!

One of the biggest features I wanted and I knew we could get is the ability to have users review movies, games and TV shows. We have that now through our Reviews Section.  All you have to do is log in and to the right in your user menu or above under reviews select Submit a Review.  Choose your category and go add it.

Now, if there is already a review created for what you are looking for that’s ok.  You can still review and make the Reviews better.  The scores are based on all the Reviews, while the editor Review is a little different you can see what we think of the item if we have seen or played the item.

Forums

Now our Forums are here for more than just support there to help everyone connect.  Even though we have our SageSocial section. The forums are more of get to know you type of place.  If you find a bug or need support for anything you can post in the Support forum and an Administrator will get to you as quickly as you can. The forums are also the place to talk games, movies, comics, anime, and music. The Sageling lobby is used for you to present ideas, along with getting to know the other Sagelings.

News, News, and More News

You can now submit your own articles to the MstSage Entertainment Team.  We will check it for any errors in spelling (even though those do get through) Along with how relevant it is to the community.  Once it passes all these checks, we will approve it or deny. If it gets denied don’t get discouraged there may have been another article similar or we just didn’t feel it was relevant at the time.  Help us and the community grow, write articles, share with friends.

Plans For the Month

Currently, the plans are to get back into the whole Live Streaming/Let’s Play.  Both Rek and myself have put them off due to our personal lives. We are hoping to also bring forth more content, including a Weekly news show on what’s new in the entertainment world. Stay tuned, be safe and happy gaming!
